Say Hello to 3.0

Break out the trumpets — Tap Tap Send 3 is here, and it’s the big update you’ve all been waiting for. Version 3 is codenamed “Big Bertha”, and for very good reasons. Think: “Sync”, “Groups” and “better iPad support”, amongst others.

Here is a list of the things you’ve been asking for, that are included in this release:

  • Sync your favourites and templates across all your devices via iCloud.
  • Group your favourites together and quickly send messages to everyone all at once.
  • Swipe right to select multiple entries for grouping, deleting or ad hoc sending.
  • Change the size of entries to make them easier to find.
  • Use Slide Over and Split-View on iPad.

You can now also use email addresses with iMessage, hide the Global Templates for individual people, filter your contacts so you can quickly find the right person, use “{nickname}” as a template variable and use x-callback-url if you so desire — all included in this release, along with a plethora of other minor bug fixes and improvements. Read about all the new features.

Tap Tap Send is now free to download but requires an in-app purchase for lifetime access, or a monthly/yearly subscription to use. A seven day, fully functional, no-commitment trial is included, so you can try out Tap Tap Send for free before deciding if it’s for you or not.

Subscriptions are important to the future of Tap Tap Send, as they allow me to fully support the app, give it the TLC it deserves, and release new features as soon as they are ready. Read about why I chose subscription pricing.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of Tap Tap Send, don’t worry — all the features you know and love, that you paid for previously, are still available to use at no extra cost, plus a few of the new features are available for free. The full set of new features (including sync and groups) are available as a discounted upgrade.
